Taqueria La Terraza Reviews

I thought the food was on point for taste and just the right temperature. The service is great! The ambiance is family friendly.

The service was fantastic. Only one lady was working the dining room, but she was timely and friendly. The food was hot, fresh and fabulous. My mom had the bean and cheese nachos, and while chips were piles, they all were covered in the toppings, my son had an al pastor burrito and said it was delicious, husband had a beef fajita plate and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I had carne asada mini tacos... (chef's kiss)!! The ambiance was nothing spectacular, but the prices were so reasonable for the amount of food...it didn't distract from the favorable impression we have of the restaurant. OH! And the chips and salsa were complimentary. The chips, I'm almost certain, were homemade...as was the salsa. I enjoyed their salsa as well as the sauces (red and tomatillo) they brought to the table. The salsa was mild with chunks of fresh tomato (understandably not for everyone), and the sauces had wonderful flavors...with a bit of a kick. So yum!!

First time here. Gotta say, this was good. Happy to report a good Alamo Ranch restaurant does exist!

I passed up on a taco shop down the road and I'm so glad that I did. These were some of the best tacos I've ever had in San Antonio, which is saying a lot. The guisada was super tender without being fatty and the gravy was perfect.. I always get picadillo tacos whenever I go to a new place to determine if that place is good or not this place was no exception although this picadillo was probably one of the best picadillo I've had in town. It was so flavorful and super juicy without being soupy, definitely will return here asap

My girlfriend loves Carne Guisada tacos and insists we get them whenever we come to San Antonio. They are impossible to find in Dallas. We tried this place because it was on our way heading home. It is great. The tacos are delicious. We are coming here from now on when we visit next. And the horchata is great too. Not grainy. Perfectly sweet and cinnamon.
